From the Editor

Well, we have always said, “If it flies, it’s in Aviation News Journal.” So, don’t be too surprised that there is a photograph of a rocket launching a space telescope into space on this month’s cover! After all, it is currently flying at a speed of 460 kts, albeit through space. To be fair, this is not just any space telescope; it is the James Webb. History will show the launch of this telescope to be one of the most significant events of our time. That’s why it is this month’s cover story.

Back on Earth, Sandy Odebunmi, a respected insurance expert, has written an excellent guide on aviation insurance. I highly recommend reading it if you are in any way involved in the aviation industry.

Also in this edition of ANJ, we say a sad goodbye to Kathy Wrobel, who has written numerous superb articles with valuable advice on purchasing and selling aircraft, as well as aircraft ownership in general. We would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to her for providing high quality content to our magazine over the past few years.
